Easter is a special time for Christians and Christian churches all around the world.  It is a celebration of praise and thanks to God, the Father, and Jesus Christ, our Saviour, for Jesus paying the ultimate price for our sin, and rising from the dead in triumph, granting forgiveness and eternal life for all who believe on Him.  As John 3:16 in the Holy Bible so beautifully explains: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Easter has also been celebrated with celebrations of life, renewal, and Spring.  These celebrations have also included Easter Egg Hunts, which are popular with children of all ages. (Grownups can be children, too!)  So, on Saturday, April 7th, Pinson Baptist Church had an Easter Egg Hunt and party for the whole community.  There were lots of games, lots of food, and lots and lots of eggs!  Bro. Kyle gave a message of the true meaning of Easter to the kids.  Everyone had a great time.  Maybe you'll be able to join us next year!
