On a cool Saturday morning, November 21, 2015, Pinson Baptist Church tackled the challenge of placing a new steeple onto the roof of our sanctuary. Even with the rain sprinkling off and on, Pinson Baptist Church refused to be deterred. With the help of a crane company, our members put together the three-piece, 900 pound, 25 foot spire, securing it to our sanctuary roof. The steeple is illuminated from within and without, with lighted blue panels shining like a lighthouse beacon in the darkness, calling out to all people, "Welcome, come and worship with us!" With the shine of the blue panels, we have outside spotlights to light up the white steeple, in bright contrast against the night sky, just as God is a shining beacon of love and hope against the worldly darkness of sin and despair. We invite everyone to come and visit Pinson Baptist Church, and to discover why we call our church "The Heart of West Tennessee." (You may click on the photos to enlarge them.)
