Pinson Baptist Church has a Youth Retreat at the local Pinson Mounds State Park each year in the Fall. Pinson Mounds is an archeological site park, rich in native Indian artifacts. There is a museum, and multiple mounds that were built for burial and ceremonial purposes. There are many things to do there. For a link to the Wikipedia site for Pinson Mounds, click here.
For November 18-20, 2013, the PBC youth enjoyed the fellowship of camping for three days/two nights at this park, using the park cabins there. The cabin pavilion was at the center of the activities, with games, crafts, fellowship, along with hiking, the picnic playground, and other activities. The event culminated on Sunday, Nov. 20th with a Harvest Day Celebration for the whole church, including a sumptuous pot-luck meal. Here is a 7-minute video from photos mainly taken inside the pavilion during the event. File viewing download is about 47Mb. Enjoy.

The 2014 PBC Youth Retreat at Pinson Mounds was no exception to exploring Pinson Mounds, fellowship, and just having good fun. This year, it was held on October 17-19, with the Harvest Day Celebration for the whole church on the last day again. Folks were too busy having fun, so we didn't get as many photos for a video like last year, but here are a few inside photos set to the wonderful song "Sanctuary." This video is a little more than 3 minutes, and file viewing download is about 26Mb. Enjoy.
