PBC - The Early Days
Pinson Baptist Church has been around since the about 1846. It has survived a lot, including a tornado in 1921 that caused the church to be rebuilt. Someone found 2 old photos of our church "way back when," so they have been posted here. If anyone can supply a general time period, please contact us and let us know.

As you can see in the photos, a lot has changed from when these photos were taken. The left side photo shows the sanctuary congregation. The double doors and the window in the back of the congregation used to open to the outside. Now there is a foyer and a sound control room. Stained glass side windows, new lights, pews, flooring, walls, and ceiling have all been added. The right side photo shows the choir alcove, which has all been changed. You can compare the old photo with the modern photo in the banner at the top of this page. What a difference!
Pinson Baptist Church is constantly undergoing changes, as it grows within the community. We have just recently purchased additional land to add a driveway l for access directly from Hwy 45-S. We invite you to come join us in our journey with God and the community.
