Jan. 2018 -
Bro. John has sadly announced he will be stepping down as pastor of Pinson Baptist Church.  He had suffered a heart attack, and is still having problems with stabilizing his heart medications and physical exertion.  Due to his weakened condition, and the stress it has caused in his life, Bro. John does not feel he can adequately fulfill the church's needs.  Bro. John will stay on as our pastor while we look for a replacement over the coming months.  Pinson Baptist Church will be putting together a Search Committee to look for a new pastor.  If you are a pastor in search of a church, full or part time, we invite you to contact us via the "Contact Us" Comments/Questions page form, or email us at pbc111@hughes.net, and your information will be forwarded to the Search Committee for contact.  Thank you.

Rev. John R. Gaters

MEET OUR PASTOR !

Pinson Baptist Church is excited to have Rev. John R. Gaters, his wife, Angela, and family at PBC.   Rev. Gaters was invited by our pastor search committee to come give a sermon at our church on June 23, 2013, and he was heartily approved by church members on June 30th.  Rev. Gaters was previously the pastor at Keeling Baptist Church in Stanton, TN.

We feel blessed to have the Gaters family with us, and look forward to Bro. John sharing the message of Jesus Christ our Lord, and helping spread the Word of God throughout the Pinson community.  We would love to have you join us in praise and worship of Jesus Christ, and we invite you to come fellowship with us.  If you have been to Pinson Baptist Church before, we invite you to come back to listen to our exciting, new, pastor.  If you have never visited our church before, we invite you to drop in to to experience our loving, caring, church family in God.  May God shine his holy light and lead you to our front door.  You are welcomed here.  Hope to see you soon!
